José A. Pérez nació el 11 de Agosto de 1980 en A Coruña, e inició su andadura en el mundo de la guitarra a los 15 años de edad, con una guitarra clásica que le regaló su padre. Desde entonces su pasión por el instrumento no hizo más que crecer, adquiriendo un año después su primera guitarra eléctrica, una Fender Stratocaster Made in México que aun conserva con gran cariño.
Posteriormente funda junto con su compañero Juan el grupo de Rock-Metal "BRONZE", que tuvo diversas formaciones a lo largo de los años, con el que grabó tres discos como guitarra solista: "Oscuro Brillo", "Rezando en el Infierno" y "Jardín de Decadencia".
Comienza a tomar clases particulares en la Escuela Presto Vivace de A Coruña, con profesores como José Rey, y en la Escuela de Músicos de la misma ciudad, con Pedro Valero (Luar na Lubre).
Posteriormente pasa a formar parte de "BRAINSTORMING", grupo Indie-Rock, con el que colabora durante 3 años aproximadamente. Más adelante funda el grupo de versiones de Rock-Soul "BIG BAND THEORY", y entra en "RUEDA FORTUNA", grupo tributo a la mítica banda de rock española "Héroes del Silencio". Todo ello como guitarra solista.
En Julio de 2015, y tras pasar un año de clases en Rockschool Coruña con Miguel Thomas, obtiene la titulación "Grade 8 Electric Guitar" de Rockschool UK, con un examinador desplazado desde Reino Unido.
En Octubre de 2015 entra en la BIG BAND DE LA ESCUELA DE MUSICA CHARAMELA de Pontedeume, como guitarrista.
En Agosto de 2016, y tras un gran año de experiencias musicales, formación e intensa preparación, consigue la diplomatura de Rockschool UK, el "Level 4 Performance Diploma", con la máxima calificación otorgada por dicho organismo (DISTINCTION).

Jose A. Perez was born on August 11, 1980 in A Coruña, and began his career in the world of guitar at 15 years old with a classical guitar that his father gave him. Since then his passion for the instrument did nothing but grow, acquiring a year after his first electric guitar, a Fender Stratocaster Made in Mexico that still retains with great fondness.
Later he founded with his bandmate Juan the group Rock-Metal "BRONZE" which had different formations over the years, with whom he recorded three albums as lead guitarist: "Oscuro Brillo", "Rezando en el Infierno" and "Jardín de Decadencia".
He began taking private lessons in the "Presto Vivace" school of A Coruña, with teachers like Jose Rey, and the "Escuela de Músicos" of the same city, with Pedro Valero (Luar na Lubre).
Subsequently becomes part of "BRAINSTORMING", Indie-Rock group, with collaborations for about 3 years. Later he founded the Rock-Soul cover band "BIG BAND THEORY", and entered "RUEDA FORTUNA", tribute to the legendary Spanish rock band "Heroes del Silencio". All as lead guitarist.
In July 2015, after a year of classes in Rockschool Coruña with Miguel Thomas, obtained the degree "Grade 8 Electric Guitar" of Rockschool UK, with an examiner moved from UK.
In October 2015 enters the BIG BAND MUSIC SCHOOL CHARAMELA Pontedeume, as a guitarist.
In August 2016, after a year of great musical experiences, guitar training and intense preparation, achieves the "Level 4 Performance Diploma" of Rockschool UK, with the highest rating awarded by that entity (DISTINCTION).
